The two brothers made their way to the top of the snow covered mountain towards the laboratory which rested at it's peak. "Roy, why are we going back there? We just got out of that wretched place." Benjamin panted. His voice hiding something. Roy was determined to go back to the lab and rescue Argus. "We -have- to go back. Argus needs us. We're his only hope." Roy replied. Benjamin staggered behind, struggling to keep up. Something in him didn't feel right. He couldn't focus and his balance was off.

Sensing something off about his brother, Roy looked over his shoulder, "You okay Ben?" He panted. The Vallhund nodded with heavy exhales, "Y-yeah...I'm good." He lied. The corgi frowned as he reluctantly turned away from his brother and went to continue on.

His eyes lay upon a rugged, almost impassible passage which caused him to stop in his tracks.
"Roy..." Benjamin's tired voice quivered behind him.
Roy didn't answer. He only stared at the terrain ahead in shock.
"Roy...listen to me. There's something I have to tell you." Benjamin whispered as his breath was thin.
The cardigan stared ahead, trying to figure out a way they could get through, "There has to be a way to get through. If we could just-"
"It's pointless!" Benjamin suddenly shouted as tears rolled down his eyes.
Roy froze, shocked at his brother yelling at him.
"Roy, I think he's dead..." Benjamin managed to say within the moment of silence he had. Roy felt his heart skip a beat. His legs felt even weaker then before. He could only stare ahead, in shock, as he was trying to figure out what his brother just said.

Just a bit more to my story, hehe. Benjamin finally tells Roy what he saw in the lab. But determined as ever, Roy won't believe it. He will find Argus and rescue him.

Absolutely beautiful work, I love Roy's blue eyes and the atmosphere is very bleak and grim with Benjamin crying in the background through the snow. 8D

Gorgeous! I like Roy's eyes, they seem so bright against the background, and also love how close he is to the viewer compared to Benjamin. Awesome story piece too! <33 All these lil bits of story are coming together! Is Ben worn out and everything right now because the virus is getting him??
